Romy Madley Croft, A.K.A Romy is a singer, songwriter, producer and DJ, as well as one third of indie electronic outfit The xx. Romy became the final member of the band to release her debut solo album, Mid Air was released to critical acclaim in September 2023 and charted at Number 15 on the Official Albums Chart. Euphoric and melancholic in equal measure, Mid Air was produced by Romy in partnership with co-producers Stuart Price, Fred Again...and bandmate Jamie xx. Romy's solo record was preceded by singles Strong and Enjoy Your Life.
