Modern-day post- and pop punk would not be the same without the Rezillos’ contribution.

The group formed in 1976 in Edinburgh, Scotland, and melded their love of doo-wop and pop melodies with punk aggression.

The band consumed covers from the glam, girl group, and British beat canon and spit them out in their “new wave beat” style.
