The Lightning Seeds proudly carry on Liverpool’s legacy of jangly, tuneful rock ’n’ roll.
Ian Broudie, then known for his tenure in punk band Big In Japan and for his production work with Echo & The Bunnymen and The Pale Fountains, formed the band in 1989.
Broudie’s experience helped The Lightning Seeds emerge fully formed with the sugary pop-rock single “Pure,” which reached the Top 40 in the U.S.
