Geri Halliwell

As Ginger Spice, Geri Halliwell was one of the wild cards in the ’90s girl band Spice Girls, adding sauciness and vigor to the quintet’s appearances before her departure from the group in 1998.

Born Geraldine Estelle Horner in Watford, England, in 1972, Halliwell was a model and dancer before she successfully auditioned for the Spice Girls in 1994.

Halliwell was the standard-bearer for the group’s “girl power,” known for her flame-red hair and penchant for wearing Union Jack-festooned dresses.
