Best known as one-half of the platinum-selling feel-good pop duo Surfaces, Forrest Frank releases equally breezy music under the name Forrest.

• Forrest Frank grew up in the greater Houston area.

While attending Baylor University in Waco, he met fellow Texas musician Colin Padalecki and began collaborating.
