About Dappy
Gifted with an expressive voice and the pop instincts of a chart-topping artist, Dappy has delivered infectious singles and emotionally transparent raps since the mid-2000s.
Born Costadinos Contostavlos in 1987, Dappy was raised as the son of Byron Costadinos, himself a vocalist from a 1970s folk-rock group, in the Camden Town section of London.
He began his ascent to popularity as a member of N-Dubz, a crew he formed with his friend Richard Rawson (Fazer) and cousin Tulisa while he was in college.
