D4vd

d4vd (born David Anthony Burke in Queens, NY, in 2005) made a name for himself in the 2020s with his raw, emotional blend of bedroom pop, R&B, and alt-rock.

At the outset of his career, d4vd made music to soundtrack Fortnite montage videos as a way of avoiding copyright strikes.

His catchy, drama-filled songs quickly began gaining listeners, and in 2022 he broke through outside of the videogame world with the swirling “Romantic Homicide,” which showcased his plainspoken vocals and blunt lyrics.
