About Amy Grant
Amy Grant is the most successful contemporary Christian music crossover star of all time, thanks to the youthful, modern edge she brings to her songs.
Born in 1960, the Augusta, GA, native released her 1978 self-titled debut album while still in high school, setting the stage for faith-driven hits such as 1979’s “Father’s Eyes” and 1982’s “El-Shaddai.” By the mid-’80s, Grant was landing on the mainstream pop charts, courtesy of the synth-heavy Top 40 hit “Find a Way” and a No.
